To create 7 self-sustainable working cities as an initial template for many more, to transition the world for the soon inevitable disappearance of work and money to a new society and culture based on Paradism, the system of a future Paradise for humanity

LightCities is a Paradist Project which means it is based on the principle of Paradism.

What is Paradism?

  • Paradism is the system of society that aims to optimize the freedom, the well-being and the happiness of the people
  • Paradism is a political system that will lead humanity safely through the transformations that will give birth to a true paradise on earth.
  • Paradism is a new paradigm socio-economic system embracing full technological advancement in artificial intelligence, robotics, internet of things, cloud computing and nanotechnology thereby freeing people up from the need to work.
  • All production tools, services and resources are shared and equitably distributed.
  • The LightCities are more than futuristic cities. They are the demonstration cities for a new economic system called Paradism which was created to address all the self-destructive plagues humanity is facing (wealth distribution, earth’s plundering, human slavery and inhumane working conditions, pollution etc…)

Therefore this is what makes LightCities completely different to any other futuristic city project.

Arcoplex

A LightCity is an Arcoplex.

An Arcoplex is a matrix of Arcolgies.

Arcology  ɑːˈkɒlədʒi/ noun

LightCities are Arcoplexes which are residentially, commercially and industrially specialized Arcologies that link to each other to create a unified futuristic ecosystem. We envision each Arcoplex to be made up of 8 to 10 Arcologies.  Each Arcology will consist of approximatively 50,000 people.

A LightCities Arcoplex will therefore accommodate  500,000 people.

The Mission

In 1950 three quarters of a billion people lived in large towns and cities, or 30% of the total world population of over 2.5 billion. In 2009 this had grown to 3.42 billion, just over half of a total population of over 6.8 billion. The United Nations Secretariat forecasts (see fig. 1 below) that by 2050, 6.4 billion, or 67% of a total of almost 9.6 billion people will live in urban areas.

An additional 3 billion urban residents in forty years translates into a need to build a new city for a population of one million people, complete with hospitals, schools, workplaces, recreation and all the rest, at a rate of six a month.” (1)

Our mission is to build cities on every continent called LightCities.

The LightCities are more than just future cities. They are the demonstration cities for a new economic system called Paradism which was created as a solution to the self-destructive plagues humanity is facing (grossly unequal wealth distribution, plundering of the earth, human slavery, inhumane working conditions, pollution etc…)
